Stacey Masliansky

Stacey is a licensed Reading Specialist with SLANT System Certification (Structured Language Training). She provides tutoring services to students in kindergarten through 12th grade. Her expertise includes instruction in reading comprehension, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, fluency, writing, composition, grammar and mechanics, timed writing and executive function skills. This includes organizational skills, time management, and study skills. Stacey has a B.S. in English Language/Arts Teacher Education from Indiana University, Bloomington and a M.A. in Reading from Northeastern Illinois University. Stacey is the President of Brainlinks Academics, Inc.

Tina Pastrana

Tina Pastrana is a certified Literacy Specialist with an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College, and a Certificate of Graduate Study in Reading Instruction from the MGH Institute for Communication Disorders. She has over 20 years of teaching experience working with middle school, high school, and college students, including students with 504 Plans and Individualized Educational Plans. She is Wilson certified and is passionate about working with young people who struggle with reading disabilities and executive function skills.

Jessica Gitles-Fine

Jessica joined the Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School faculty in 2014. She earned her B.S. in Mathematics Education with a Minor in Technology from the University of Indiana. Over the last fifteen years, Jessie has primarily taught high school Mathematics. Jessica most recently taught at Whitney Young High School in Chicago, Ramah Jerusalem High School (TRY) in Israel, and Solomon Schechter of Westchester in New York before moving to Minnesota. Jessica lives in St. Paul with her husband Jeremy, and daughters Annie and Trudy. She loves the White Sox, travel, and spending time with her family and friends.


Diana Tang

Diana is a teacher, tutor, and curriculum specialist in K–12 educational publishing in reading, writing, science, and social studies. Her educational experience includes teaching with the Northwestern University Center for Talent Development and being an elementary classroom teacher in Evanston. Diana’s passions are reading and writing, and she enjoys helping students find their own writing voices and teaching students the skills and tools they need to enjoy reading. She also enjoys helping students with college application essays. She has a B.S in Psychology and Journalism and a M.A. in Elementary Education from Northwestern University. Diana is working on SLANT System Certification in structured literacy.
